HISTORY AND BACKGROUND OF LEADS SCHOOL

Leads School is located in Jomvu constituency in Aldina. The school is within Changamwe Sub-County in the Mombasa County.

The school was started in September 2013 founded by FCS/CPA John Nyabuto and Mrs Resah Nyabuto. It is a Mixed Day school. It started as a Nursery School and Primary School classes 1 to 4 with 80pupils and 44pupils for Nursery and Primary respectively.

Due to successful tutorship in the lower classes and increasing demand from parents and support from the community, in 2014 the school expanded to a fully-fledged primary school.

In 2015, the School produced its first Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates which comprised nineteen pupils. The School performed remarkably well for a first attempt.

Leads School introduced computers as an educational tool in the year 2014. The school uses computer systems in various departments to enhance the depth of knowledge of our children.

To further increase efficiency and focus in the learning experience, in 2014 the school was divided into 3 sections, 1) Nursery 2) Lower and 3) Upper sections.

Leads School has tremendously grown over the few years and we have more than 750 pupils. The school has well equipped facilities that provide a serene learning environment for your child..

With a keen focus on providing holistic education for our pupils, we embrace an approach that addresses all facets of growth and development. Our aim is to make every pupil the best he/she can in all areas of development. Our activities are therefore well planned and tailor made to enable the learner to attain maximum knowledge through practical participation.
